Hello and Happy New Year!!! I am excited to say that we have some updates coming soon.
This time next week I will be at the Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy (SLIG). This is a week long course on a focused genealogical subject. This year, they are offering Advanced Hispanic Research. Now, I have been doing my family research for over 20 years and this is the first of such a course that I have heard SLIG to offer so when it was announced, I jumped on registering. I am so excited as this is my first advanced course in genealogy and that it is forecasted to snow in Salt Lake City. I have been in snow but have never seen snow fall before. I am very excited!!!!
I know that I will learn a lot in this course and I will learn of new resources that I will gladly add here. So keep an eye out for new resources, tips and How-to’s. I am hoping to add them within the month following the Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy (SLIG).
As always, if you know of any resources, tips, or how-to articles that would be helpful for those searching their Mexican ancestry, please let me know in the submission page.
Thank you.
