 Dissave, three Korales and Matale during the reign of Sri Wickrema Rajasinghe. Appointed by the British to the posts of Sethaperige Muhandiram and Ran Audha Mandape Lekam. Abandoned posts to join the rebels against the British. Appointed Adikaram, Siyapattu. Received honors and lands in 1755. Suspected by the King of Kandy for exchanging letters with the British, Ahelepola Maha Adigar and Mampitiya Wasala Bandara. Ordered by the King to be beheaded but pardoned and imprisoned at Nellakke. Briitish Government declared Allepola as a rebel and proclaimed his arrest on 19-Mar-1818. Arrested with his family, on 19-Mar-1818 at Ududumbara on 6-Oct-1818. Court Martialed on 17-Oct-1818, properties confiscated and beheaded on 27-Oct-1818.
