Geffrey was a Tea Planter in Ceylon, met Dorothy while serving on the Jury of one of her Father's
Court Cases. He was called to Service in World War II and was on a ship heading for Crete as
support for the fighting when their ship was sunk by a German U-boat near Malta. He survived and
served in Malta until later being involved in the assualt on Sicily and heading on to Italy to quash
Mussolini's Regime. From their he was sent to Crete and handle the surrender of the Germans, then
to Eygpt and later Nairobi- Kenya and Kartoombe Central Africa. After the war had ended he went
back to England as a Sniper Officer where he applied sucessfully to go to Eritria-Ethiopia and later
transfered to Cyprus on receiving orders to transfer to Germany he retired and with Dorothy ran a
Tennis Club in England, later he worked for Thomas Cook as a Accountant.

Frederick Keyt Jonklaas better known as Jackie and was a highly regarded person who joined the Ceylon Police in 1922 as a Sub-Inspector and rose to the rank of Assistant Superintendent in 1948. He later retired with distinguished service, receiving a medal in 1942 for Long Service and many outstanding citations. In 1956 he joined the Lipton Tea Company in Colombo as a Commercial Assistant adapting his knowledge to his new role exceedingly well. He may also be noted that he rendered assistance to a Warehouse Manager who was being attacked by a laborer attempting to murder him. Jackie was also well known for his passion of motorcycles and probably never forgotten by a certain village he rode through. His appearance was that of a ghost which was seen as a apparition and brought a time of peace in order that this "ghost" might not return.
