My great grandfather was Benjamin Marcus Armstrong and my great grandmother was Frederica Speldewinde.

My grandfather was Wilfred Speldewinde Armstrong who married Maud De Zilva on the 23 of January in Matara. Grandpa was born on the 4th of November 1860 and died on the 17th of June 1931.

They had Edmund Armstrong (who died at the age of nine years) birth date 25 January 1891 Matara

Edwina Frances Armstrong (died on 8th August 1974) birth date 5 March 1893, Matara married Arthur Gough Sleep RAF Pilot from Canada (died in Toronto in 1979)

Marjorie Constance Armstrong (died in 1950) birth date 2nd September 1897, Matara, married Grenier and had one daughter Joyce Grenier (passed on) birth date 1 July 1927
