The census was taken in the year Father Youhanna Dib was ordained as a maronite pirest and given the Parish of Haret es-Saydeh in Tripoli.
He recorded this census in his own handwriting. It is still kept in the church of es-Saydeh.
We see that on that year, Salim Dib (Salomon Juan Dip) was already deceased in America (actually Mexico), and detailed information on his family was not available. His brothers Khalil (Julian Juan Dip) and Youssef (Jose Juan Dip) were also in Mexico, but full details on their families were recorded. This is may be due to the fact that Salim had emigrated to "America" a number of years before his two brothers Khalil and Youssef joined him.
